5/18 LAX=>ORD=>SJU (5/19 arrival)
5/22 SJU=>IAD=>LAX
$280.80AI
The good news is that on a flight from LAX-MCO on 5/15, I'll make 1P so I'll get the full 100% RDM bonus for this itin. Some very reasonable rates at the Caribe Hilton also for these dates (omw to Diamond as well
).

I have the following itinerary on hold for 4/7-4/9 (next week).
LAX-IAD (redeye) 4/7
IAD-STT-SJU 4/8
SJU-PHL-BOS-LAX 4/9
Yes, SJU-PHL-BOS is on US
, but at least I will get a chance to try out the E-190, spend an afternoon in Boston, and hopefully enjoy United First on a long transcon home.
Plus, over 9000 EQM!

I also found a route with a JFK-LAX p.s. dinner flight for anyone interested.
Return routing would be: SJU-IAD (Ted), DCA-LGA (US Shuttle), and JFK-LAX (departing at 6:50pm). I did not check options into SFO.
Price is still $280.
I did not choose this option because of the pain of transferring in NYC. I can handle the 5A bus from Dulles to Rosslyn Metro and a quick hop on the blue line down to National, but I do not like changing airports (especially from LGA to JFK) in NYC. Even with a 3.5 hour layover, you waste $15 for an hour bus ride between the airports or $25 for a cab. Plus, an upgrade with e500s is hit or miss.
