farecompare troubles
Awhile ago, I subscribed to 4-star farecompare alerts from my home airport. For the past week or so, they've started sending me "junk" emails with all sorts of fares. I went to their website to try to change my settings, but it won't let me in to my profile -- it says it doesn't recognize my password (I generally use the same password for all such sites), and doesn't give me an option to have my "correct" password sent to my email address.
Anyone having similar problems, and does anyone have a suggestion how to reset my preferences?

Soory to hear that you are having troubles with our new email alert system.
I'll get someone to check it out.
In the meantime, if you could email at graeme at farecompare.com I see whats up with your account and why you can't login.

I have the same problem. I cannot login or change my password - it says "You have entered an invalid E-Mail Address or your password is incorrect."
a) my E-Mail address is clearly valid since farecompare send me a link to change my password, and
b) my password cannot be incorrect if I am trying to change it! Jeez...

Any help?

Problem with alerts not following UP/DN/BOTH setting
Slightly different problem --
I have one alert setup that tracks a specific airline. I have it set to only send alerts for DOWN price changes, yet I get UP and DOWN. It only seems to affect my alerts which are set for a single airline.
Anybody else have this problem?
