Just completed a mileage run for Elite qualifying miles on US
I just finsihed a mileage run on a trip from PHX to FLL via DCA on USAirways in A class to get the normal elite qualifying miles plus the additional 50% elite qualifying miles on the discounted First Class airfare. I would have gone in Y class, but seeing as the year is widing down and I needed 6,000 more elite qualifying miles, I decided to buy up to qualify.
After reviewing my current account balance, I luckily saw I made the minimum requirement. So another year as a Platinum begins on Janaury 1, 2008.
