Overnight MR from PHL on Sky Team ...
Hello ...
So I have some spare time around Oct 17,18,19 when I'm in Philly to do a MR and I'm thinking an overnighter to get to the west coast and back.
I put in the following:
PHL-LAX-PHL and got back this:

When I lived in PHL, I bought a bunch of US's $158 r/t tix to LAX and just went to the airport after work, flew across the country, stayed on the same plane in LAX, and arrived home before work the next day.
The routing you have sounds interesting, if you find a lot of spare time in your itinerary, you could take out one or two of the connections and try for a PHL-MSP-LAX-MSP-PHL type routing and do it twice or three times over the course of the couple days in PHL.
Sometimes, less is more.

There have been many really good transcon fares out of PHL on CO and NW. Tuesday I was looking at $192.60 on CO to San Diego available on various days through January. The week previous the same fare on CO to Sacramento which could be done in the afternoon and return on a red eye.
