overlapping/staggered pnr's to rake in flight segments
My airline loyalty program has a partner with dirt cheap short haul flights. I usually travel a handful of very log haul international flights and points aren't a problem - flight segments are though.
Theoretically i could book stacked non-stop flights, and get 4 to 6 segments per day for about $20/segment. However, itinerary A would start day 1, and end day 3. Itinerary B would start day 2 and end day 4. I would stack more, if it's viable, so I'm simplifying for practical communication.
Does this violate a standard airline policy, as does say, skip lagging?
Apologies if this is the wrong sub, it just seemed as close as I could find.
Cheers.

You're not violating any policy. You're going to fly each of the trips you booked, so you shouldn't have a problem unless one flight gets a huge delay or cancellation, then you might not be able to make it to the starting point of the next trip.

The tendency it is to schedule these things tightly to fit as much as possible into a just a a day or two. All that can unravel quickly if there are delays, IRROPs.

not these nesting itineraries, just goofiness like driving from the nw chicago suburbs to milwaukee so i could fly MKE-ORD-MSP and back instead of just driving to ohare. was it worth it? well...

Segments don't mean anything anymore, but now you could take the train to MKE.
