With free re-entry to Japan this is really tempting but seems the deal is gone.

Flights from this deal on UA have been cancelled. UA does not provide alternative flights. I booked PHL-SFO-KIX for Feb. 2022.

Edit: called United and fixed it with two stop itinerary.

Japan currently does not open for tourists. So, I cancelled my flights for full refund a few days ago. United got interest on my and my wife’s $260 tickets for 11 months. I was supposed to take the flight tomorrow. All UA segments were upgraded with PlusPoints. Sadly, I am not allowed to enter Japan.
