Cancelled itinerary

Looks like TAP didn’t honor this. My June 2021 itinerary (NYC to BCN) was just cancelled by Expedia.

Appears that TAP also cancelled my "time to think"-booking, offering a 48 hour booking window for a one-time payment of 13 USD.

Not too surprising, but I'm not expecting them to refund that fee on their own. Wouldn't be a big loss, but probably worth it to send an e-mail to their customer service. We'll see how it works out.

Has anyone who booked through Expedia reached out to customer service yet?

Got the cancelation email from TAP but Expedia says the flight have been cancelled and to call to rebook other options??? When I go online Expedia shows all is good, trip is in July so I will wait a little to deal with it. My charge is pending still and all I care about is if it's cancelled getting my money back.

Got the email, but is anyone's itinerary actually still showing at flytap.com? Mine is still there complete with flight time changes that must have happened today as the flights are about 1/2 hour earlier than before.

Disappointed, but I am glad TAP acted so fast, and did not spend money on other things. I am a bit surprised actually that they were so quick in reacting to this error fare.

Your flight has been cancelled and a refund in the amount $263.15 has been processed. Bank processing times vary and typically take 1-3 days. Please contact your financial institution for additional details.

Got the cancelation email as well.

I'm more familiar with DOT rules on such fares, but does anyone know the EU ones? Do they get to unilaterally yank a fare like this?
mcdullhk88 and josephbanjo7 like this.

Mine is still there and I have no e-mail, but I am much later in the year, so I am sure that an email will show up at some point.

1-3 days? Did this email come from TAP? I did not get one. Can we also keep track of the timelines of the refund? I am worried because people here say 8-9 months?
