PHL to Hawaii with stopover in LAX, what miles to use?
I am looking to book a PHL to LAX, then stopover for a week, then LAX to either OGG (Maui) or KOA (Big Island) or ITO (Hilo in Big Island). Using AA miles, it will be two separate tickets totaling 30k miles. (For return, I am looking to book a premium class.) I got miles in all US major airlines, Iberia, BA plus Citi Thank You and Chase Ultimate Rewards points. So, for one-way trip, which miles or program will allow a stopover for trip above?

BA could be an option as there're no direct flights from PHL-Hawaii, you'd have to book 2 segments - PHL-LAX then LAX-OGG/KOA separately, so you can naturally make that a stopover. Total should cost you 12,500 x 2 = 25,000 Avios.
AS lets you have a free domestic stopover. That can be as low as 15,000 miles, provided you can find availability.
