Use the ticket number on AF’s website.

is there a way to find the fare basis code before booking (not just the class but the entire code)?

at what point do we know that it will be honoured?
It tends to be the first letter. X is probably economy.

Oh my god. What a facepalm moment . It's like I haven't been on here for years.

Thanks!

Thank you. Can you expand on that a little as I've not come across "PNR" before. I'm on the "Manage my booking page', 'search with booking code'and it's asking for the booking number and first and last name. Just says that it's not recognized

I have definitely selected and been ticketed business seats... hmm could it be business class seat with Economy fare basis?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passenger_name_record

It's the six digit alphanumeric code that identifies pretty much every flight itinerary I've ever flown.

Somebody mentioned earlier in the thread they thought it was a mapping issue.
Presumably you didn't book direct with AZ then?
