Yeah and the station manager at LAX couldn't be any nicer when they had one no-show in J so they offered it to us. However, my travel companion and I didn't want to split up so he told us that one person will then be considered a "voluntary downgrade" while the other would be a "involuntary downgrade". I guess it doesn't matter that both of us were on one ticket, they pretty much get to do whatever they want. I realize the refund amount won't be big for price of the tickets we paid but they sure know how to rub it in further.

anyone have advice on how to get appropriate mileage credit from delta? i submitted the skymiles form after my flight didn't post automatically, and then they were credited, but as 'X' class rather than 'E' class. i then asked them to correct this and adjust, and they said no because it was an X fare code even if it said 'E' on the ticket. Any advice on how to handle this to get my MQMs/MDMs? Thank you!
