Probably false advertising by CX. I usually can’t find anything else even with promo code or actually limited to very few dates :rolleyes:

Ugh. And here I told myself I'd cut back on mileage runs in 2019. This earns:

On AA: 20779 EQM, 2770 EQD
On BA: 200 TPs
On AS: 15238 EQM

Not bad if that $773 fare can be found and booked.

Stunningly good deal. With a sub $300 positioning RT from JFK, this is under $1,000 all in with a few days in San Fran. I'll be booking this.

Is it true if you are AA exec plat and book PE on cx sometimes they will upgrade you?

True. In fact, one time I flew, a guy with AA Gold (OW Ruby) status was upgraded PE to BIZ. If I remember correctly, this was HKG-YVR flight.

Last year they had JFK-HKG for $1,000 on offer. Don't see such fares from JFK this time.

While there isn't a specific HKG sale from JFK like last year, it looks like a bunch of destinations are showing $500 off for PE. I'm seeing JFK-TPE for $1272.

How can a PE passenger get CX lounge access at HKG? I don't care about their SFO lounge. THe HKG one is supposed to be very good. I haven't been to HKG for a while.

Have oneworld Sapphire or Emerald status. That's it, unless you buy biz.
