And directly off the HX site under Fortune Wings, earn points.

I had the same lousy experience trying to put my middle name in. Hopefully no issue on these USA flights.

So not to much use to me - this will be a business trip, and I have to schedule meetings before leaving. So I guess I am stuck with original booking.

Have you all been charged? Just checked my statement and the charge was dropped however the booking still shows confirmed on both Expedia and HXs website

Can you share the URL full path you used to see the details of your record and whether or not you were logged into FWC account at the time? Can't confirm my FWC accounts properly attached. TIA

i booked mine directly through their site and signed up for a FWC account during the booking process. if i log into my account on their website i get to my profile page (https://new.hongkongairlines.com/hxa...fileAccount.do) and the reservation shows up there (https://new.hongkongairlines.com/hxa...ingRedirect.do -- these URLs don't work without logging in though). fwiw if i pull up my booking separately (by ticket number) i don't see that there's an FWC account attached.

The psychology of sales.... driving people to irrational behaviors, it's never surprising, you buy when it's cheaper, or a lot cheaper without asking yourself if you need/'can afford' it.

Over at AM's MIA-GRU sale, 1 person is trying to get the money back ($400) because s/he can no longer afford it.

Thanks for replying.. I booked via Expedia, selected seats via Chat, then created FWC account separately and attached FWC to ticket numbers via a second chat subsequently. Not able to see anything on HKA.com similar to yours wherein your FWC number is attached within your ticket number/recloc. Also can't find any method to pull up reservation on HKA.com using the record locator (only the ticket number)

Did anyone have the fare rule or having experience changing an HX ticket after first segment?
Based on someone from the thread and my experience from other airlines, we should be able to change after first segment as long as J is available, without repricing and just pay change fee?
What about changing from no stopover to stopover?

....
I have business in BKK and need to fly on a fairly consistent basis. I just booked 3 of these for 66% of a normal single flight. So do not get so psychological about it.

The lounge at HKG is serviceable but nothing spectacular. AA contracts to use it, which doesn't make sense since anyone that would have access via status or travel class could use the QF or any of the CX lounges.
