Yes, Entered my ticket number on the airline website, and status shows Confirmed. Seems that is all you can do on their site.

It's obvious that it's an error when you compare it with their other published prices. They intended to price it at US$5600 and accidentally put HK$5600 instead.

That's ridiculous. No airline needs to point to random FlyerTalk posts as "evidence" of anything. The DOT has given airlines cover to call just about anything an "error fare."

Sure, and if this were in the $1800-$2000 range, nobody would be calling it an error fare.
maverick17 and markmho like this.

Thanks. I can get a few things to show, but when I pursue them, they're gone.

Virgin Velocity is a partner of HX. Hainan owns HX so there may be a future partnership there.

If the tickets don't get cancelled, the next step is figuring out points. HX doesn't really have any partners to credit, but according to their website, you can exchange their FF points on points.com:

Below is the partner companies we can exchange points with:
AeroplanAir Canada, IHG Rewards Club Inercontinertal Hotels Group, TrueBlue JetBlue ,Sega Club Icelandair, Hawaiian Miles Hawaiian Airlines, China Rewards, Frontier Airlines FRONTIER Early Returns,
LA QUINTA

Seems like it's still active, at least from LAX.
It's just availability drying up.
