Great Fare on ANA and United. Stopover in Tokyo and other countries for $100 more.

The recliners ANA flies on their 787-9 out of YVR are absolute garbage and certainly not suitable for a long haul. I think ANA must know this as the fare was around for the majority of last year too.

Beware if you are thinking about booking this.

What about United? Very similar fare.

Just saw that. Much better option. I would just avoid the YVR-HND route.

FYI; no recliners on the 789 during the summer out of YVR.

I believe recliners were introduced on YVR route when they take out the plane for maintenance (from Nov to Feb I believe). Now if this was on JL I would proactively avoid as they normally operate recliners between YVR and Japan.

i doubt they would put thise seats on LAX or SFO. and you'd get a few extra miles.

Pretty sure ANA is flying a 788 with recliners, not a 789. I think the lie-flat 789s return to NH 115/6 in late March.

Having said that, yeah, not worth a long-haul on their recliners - fine for a few hours but not certainly not a TPAC.

Thanks, booked one for $2080USD YYZ-SIN with TYO stopover. Tempted to book a few more of these given the rarity of sub-$2000 East Coast-SE Asia fares.

Looking at booking this from YYZ. I am usually oneworld, can someone comment on the mileage earning for this flight, probably credit to MileagePlus?
