Can't seem to get it to work from YVR, though. The EK website seems to think YVR is the Vancouver Bus Station.
Yea I gave up on YVR as it's only giving the bus option to/from SEA. That's almost like torture before you enjoy your first class trip.

If you don't mind a 15 hour layover in DXB you can get YYZ-HKG with the A380 F all the way to JNB and back for CAD5594.

Regardless you can get A380 F all the way back with a 4.5 hour layover in DXB for the same price.

No. Can't seem to get it to work via SFO. Below is what I have from YVR going through LAX (at least it's the A380 across the Atlantic instead of the 77W from SEA). I think going through LAX also works for YYC-MXP.

Update: One can even stop over in LAX on both ends.

I'm not a blog hater, so not passing judgment, but should mention that this (specifically YYZ-MXP) is hitting the blogs now. So if you want to pull the trigger on that flight, now's the time.

Can you post an example itinerary? I am not able to price it for the dates that I've tried

Anybody know if you would get screwed (in terms of getting credited EQMs or redeemable miles for AS) if you simply skipped the last LAX-YVR leg? Seems easier for me to figure out how to get home from LAX instead of YVR.

AS is not going to care if you miss that LAX-YVR WestJet flight.

I booked one for November 2018, but Milan weather is kind of bad then. Although quieter...

Just booked MXP for next August with a weekend trip in May to Canada to start trip. You can get via SFO, just not starting in YVR. Thanks for sharing, OP!

Yep, just figured that out. Tried the same thing earlier, but it didn't work. I got it to work with a week stopover in SFO on both ends.
