[FARE GONE] Va: Dfw-mel $172 ai

Posted on TFD. Obviously a mistake fare, so we'll see if it gets honored. Priceline tickets are processing but don't have a ticket number yet. Available through May with some missing weeks.

Books into Q, which should earn 100% MQM on DL.

My garbage OTA booking has been processed but says it may take 24 hours to "book"...so we'll see. I don't have much faith in this at all. The only thing that DOES give me some hope is that Branson is the top guy at Virgin so they might have a corporate culture cool enough to say "our bad, we'll let you fly, just no changes or upgrades". I had the same thought with the ANA mistake, just that ANA is classy enough to honor it. Worked out fine for those buyers!

Fingers crossed.

Priceline as well and no email yet. Got the booking code and the flights show up on Virgins site but the price is blank.

Do have a Virgin Australia confirmation number and it works in their website, no idea if ticketed though

I booked an early december trip immediately on seeing this.

Not ticketed yet, just have the priceline confirmation. I am in for $184.06, and crossing my fingers.

I can still find it on virgin's site for $303.

Virgin Australia has 24 hour cancellation policy for departures from the US. I booked 6 itins and got eticket numbers for all of them. Can't seem to book via click through from Google Flights now.

Damn I saw after I booked mine Expedia had it, felt a bit stupid a legit OTA had it but I used a bobo one. Feel even dumber now that you mention VA had it! I always will pay a little more to book straight from the airline. At least if they cancel they'll be quick, and it's always easier to pick seats etc on a direct booking.

I got my original email from the OTA, then the follow up call confirming all my info and signing off on the credit card charge...which was pretty stupid. Now I'm waiting on my e-ticket which I was told would take max 1 hour.

Haha, I always love the greedy bookings. Find something like this then just go hog wild . Are all the bookings for you? Or do you mean 6 itins for 6 people? I'd love to see someone fly from DFW-MEL like 5-6 times in a couple weeks just as a punishing mileage run haha.
