You need to specify routing codes in the advanced control field at ITA Matrix.
Type DOH CMB for outbound and CMB DOH for homebound.

Update: with a little more experimentation I have now managed to make a booking (to HKG in Aug) on the UL website for €1,166.87. Thanks for all your help.

It seems, that the fight LCA-DOH is booked through first week in october. The date we booked in 2019 is also not available any more. 29 or 30 SEPT or 10 OCT works.
And on the 21st DEC, there is no UL flight HKG-CMB. 20 or 22 DEC works.

Also QR updated own fares from my region too, increasing SE Asia price tags (SGN and SEL used to be the cheapest for non-sale fares, including buy business fly first [ie D class] for a long time).
