4 hour stopover in LHR?

two different itineraries, arriving 6:10 pm, departing 10:30 pm.
Is that enough time to get through customs, get checked bag, and go back through security?
I've never flown to LHR so im not sure if this is feasible or not.

sorry if this is in the wrong forum

You'd probably get the best answers in the BA forum, as many posters there have enormous experience with LHR.

Yes if everything is on time. It would help to know the airline(s) and routing.

Both terminal 4 then, so really just depends if you are comfortable with the buffer in case of delays/IRROPS. If you miss the flight and remaining segments on that ticket would be cancelled.

Your question has nothing to do with BA.

On average, you need about an hour if it's the same terminal and 1 hour and 20 minutes if it's a different terminal. I've had 2 hour layovers and have had no problems. As mentioned before, it would be a problem if you are delayed by more than 2 hours.
