Two reports at the end of that thread that the BOS C mini gates now have full PreCheck, and not just the Expedited/PreCheck lite.

so, this is basically a situation similar to recent AZ circumstance, ie you can fly from PDX to LAX and such via several remote connections.
I just spent 30 min diddling with VS destinations as connections - no luck. Its a sweet deal for West coast based AS flyers. |

Also, anyone having issues with 24hr cancels? The spotty website/app wants me to call, but I'll wait for others to book first. Anyway to get this price but from lax t sfo, wouldn't need that layover in sfo. Or is it available 1 day earlier so I'm in Portland on Tuesday? Rookie when it comes to google flights and I can't get any of these prices to show up when editing itineraries from some of the other peoples links. Your link won't allow for any edits. |

The fare seems to be available on Tues, Wed, and Saturday. So starting on a Monday would raise the fare a bit. If the lower fare classes are available, it only goes up by about $20 for a one-way trip. |
See his post #75. He doesn't want to no show the SFO-PDX flight.

I just managed to snag a mid-January PDX-SFO-JFK-LAX-JFK-LAS-SFO-PDX for $190. Will be quite something for two and half days but I'll have access to airport lounges to eat/nap/shower.
Plus I put it on my Citi Prestige so I should get the travel reimbursement too. :D |
Interesting fare. I booked over a weekend in Feb. for $166:
PDX-SFO-JFK-LAS-LAX-JFK-SFO-PDX A good start to MVP Gold. What's the best way to get access to airport lounges if you don't have status on other airlines? I could use showers/food/drinks in between flights. |
Easiest way to get Lounge access is to get Priority Pass, which is included with one of the premium CC's.
|
All right, jumped on this insane train. Booked LAX-NYC-SFO-PDX-SFO-BOS-LAX for $136. https://goo.gl/flights/NwEz
Am only MVPG but hopefully I'll get 75k in 2017 starting on this foot. |
Any way to avoid taking the absolute first flight in the morning back from BOS/NYC?

Went back for another helping to lock up MVP for next year. :D PDX-SFO-FLL-LAX-IAD-SFO-PDX 10/10-11 for a change of airports for a few miles less. Couldn't book this one with directly using Priceline's multicity, but could through bookwithmatrix and then Priceline.
I booked PDX-SFO-JFK-LAX-IAD-SFO-PDX initially, but noticed when I went to select seats that PDX-JFK is a direct flight under VX1022 so canceled that one and did FLL instead. ETA: blackout dates: Code:
TRAVEL IS NOT PERMITTED 22DEC 16 THROUGH 23DEC 16 OR |
