For each request, please include the following information:

Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Budget:
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*:

For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A SEPARATE THREAD.

----

NOTE: there is not much time left in 2017, given that travel tends to be expensive around holidays. You will have greater chances of success if you have greater flexibility on travel dates and cost. If you need a lot of MQMs on weekends only for < 5 cpm it probably won't happen.

Other creative possibilities depending how many MQMs you need:
----

*"Required Metal or Codeshares" is, approximately, asking whether you need a flight operated specifically by Delta or if partner flights are ok. If you are just looking for MQMs to hit a Medallion tier the normal way, then the answer is yes. If you are doing a status challenge, the answer is also probably yes, but read the T&C of your challenge carefully to be sure (for the regular status challenge the answer is also "yes")

NOTE: some partner flights earn MQMs at reduced rates. See this chart for more info.

Required Metal or Codeshares okay*: Codeshares are fine, and have Chinese Visa. Not afraid of long haul to Asia or South Africa.

Hi Everyone, thanks for the help with this! My first shot ever at making Diamond and have done everything I can to stack up MQM this year. I will be doing a couple Hilton stays before end of year so will probably get the miles needed to just over 20000, but a carryover cushion is always nice.

Departure Airport: DCA/IAD from 11/28-12/13 or DEN for the rest of the time.
Miles Needed: I'm short $51 MQD to have Silver next year.
Required Spend or Budget: As little as possible?
Available Travel Dates: Now through End of year.
Required Metal or Codeshares okay: Whatever, just need that $51 MQD. I don't mind taking DL one way, i.e outbound or return, then the cheapest whatever airline for the other flight.

Thanks!

Departure Airport: BUF (ROC if necessary)
Miles Needed: 6 MQS Delta
Required Spend or Budget: $800 budget
Available Travel Dates: Preferably 11/27 with no overnight. 12/4 will work if absolutely necessary
MQM's will probably be cheaper than segments. BUF-JFK-LAX-DTW-BUF can be done same calendar day on 11/27 for $599 and earns 5454 MQM's. The same trip on 12/4 would be $414. As a bonus, you get an A330 on JFK-LAX.

yep, Reserve sign-up bonus is pretty easy but some folks aren’t eligible so it isn’t always an option. I added mention of the Reserve in a post edit, so maybe it wasn’t there when you first read my post.

DCA-DAY is $118 on 12/5 or 12/6. If you just want quickest option, DCA-CVG or DCA-JFK non-stop's are $121 roundtrip on 12/5 or 12/6.

Goal: 20K MQM and $2,000

Departure Airport: New York, but flexible within US
Miles Needed: 20K
Required Spend or Budget: $2000
Available Travel Dates: December
Required Metal or Codeshares okay: Anything that gets me DL MQM
Fare Class: Any, but open to a premium run that nets both goals

Ordinarily I would try to work this out myself, but all I know is the Google Map tools and for a complex run it's not a great option.

Can someone suggest a year-end run that nets both 20K MQM at a $2,000 price? Prefer if a comfy premium trip rather than a long multi-day journey in Economy. Open to any destination that accepts a US passport where there's a minimum amount of political and visa drama.

Thank you in advance!

Miles Needed: 12500 needed for DL Gold.
Required Spend or Budget: $500.
Available Travel Dates: Open through end of year
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*: YES

Doing DL Gold status challenge as I won't make AA platinum again this year.
Probably not worth spending more than $450-$500 to get DL Gold as I could instead just get an Amex Platinum card?
All advice much appreciated! Able to go anywhere ASAP.

A mileage run to Anchorage will meet your mileage goals

e.g. JFK-SEA-ANC-SEA-JFK, $425, about 7500 miles, Dec 9 - 10

Various dates in early December available in the $424 price range. Use Delta Flexible Dates

Any help would be appreciated. I don't mind the long hauls to Asia or Africa or Middle East. Didn't fly as much as I did last year to keep Diamond. Thanks in advance for your help.
