For each request, please include the following information:
Departure Airport:
Miles Needed:
Required Spend or Budget:
Available Travel Dates:
Required Metal or Codeshares okay*:
For each response. Please quote the original request. DO NOT START A SEPARATE THREAD.
----
NOTE: there is not much time left in 2017, given that travel tends to be expensive around holidays. You will have greater chances of success if you have greater flexibility on travel dates and cost. If you need a lot of MQMs on weekends only for < 5 cpm it probably won't happen.
Other creative possibilities depending how many MQMs you need:
----
*"Required Metal or Codeshares" is, approximately, asking whether you need a flight operated specifically by Delta or if partner flights are ok. If you are just looking for MQMs to hit a Medallion tier the normal way, then the answer is yes. If you are doing a status challenge, the answer is also probably yes, but read the T&C of your challenge carefully to be sure (for the regular status challenge the answer is also "yes")
NOTE: some partner flights earn MQMs at reduced rates. See this chart for more info.

Other creative possibilities depending how many MQMs you need:
- signup bonuses for various DL-branded AMEX cards (usually have a spend requirement)
- if you already have planned travel, consider buying up (in advance, not at check in) for 50% MQM bonus and more flexible same-day-confirmed options which are another way to increase MQMs
- Hilton 250 MQMs per stay of 2 nights or more
- if you are close to a threshold Delta often will offer a buy-up (at exorbitant prices). 2016 thread, and speculation/anticipation thread for 2017

DL JAX-BWI fares only allow a single connection. Intentionally adding segments will result in breaking the fare into multiple fares and will generally increase the total cost. Maybe that's okay if it's out of your pocket or your employer doesn't watch your fares too closely. JAX-ERI fares allow double connects. You can do a JAX-ATL-DTW-ERI-DTW-ATL-JAX segment run on 12/7 for $206.80 in main cabin.

looking for MR around .05/.06 mile/mqm, need 14k MQM
last year: OMA>ATL>PDX>ATL>OMA same day turn - 2 days back to back ... schedules changed making this one not feasible.
I can reposition as needed, prefer domestic 48 states with same day turn

I thought a US Citizen could travel in China with on a special 72 or 144 hour visa depending on the region, as long as you stay within that region. I think the visa is obtained at the destination. I'll call the consulate and ask.

Do you have a Chinese Visa? It will be required unless you are transiting to a third country through PVG.

I was just there... you need ONWARD travel to a 3rd country (HKG is included) to qualify for the visa, RT is not eligible.

Deja Vu. You can do DFW - RST/LSE for $220 - $280 in BE/main cabin those dates. With the right routing (double connect via ATL and MSP) you can earn slightly over 4K MQM's. SEA and PDX cost more, but you will earn more MQM's, which may be more important than simply minimizing CPM if you need alot of miles.
