What's wrong with HU's 787 C seat? It's lie-flat, and it has great catering options. 2-2-2 layout is the industry norm of 787 business class (QR has gone above and beyond), and it's much better than JL's angle-flat 787 C seat.

JL got widely panned for putting old seats in a new jet iirc. That said, I was a big fan of my JL Neo Flat Shell seat, and that was pan Pacific as well

Limo Service

Hainan Airlines now provides chauffeured private executive car services to our business class* guests who fly on routes between China and the U.S..
(*business class fares booked in C, D ,I and R class are eligible; J class are excluded from this service.)

How will the chauffer service work for this flight. The ticket is from BKK to BOS. You will just have 7 hour transit in PEK. Can we use Chaufer service to and fro to the city, while in PEK?

Yes but you can earn on Alaska, which is the most valuable program IMHO.

I booked on Orbitz and received PNR and e-ticket, none of which is recognized on HU's website. The ticket stock starts with 880xxx...

Any ideas that might be going on?

Hainan starts with 880 so it's the correct ticket, I'd give it a couple of hours to let it go trough.

Thanks OP. I booked it nearly 12 hours ago after first spotting the deal here. I booked directly at HU website and got etickets in under 10 minutes from the time I pressed purchase.

Same here, and I booked 2 days ago. Not sure what's going on yet.

The error msg indicated the "Manage My Booking" tool is for tix booked on their own website only, so that's the likely explanation.

Was this posted somewhere else? It was only posted here less than 1 day ago.

How are you getting 9,106 on AS? I am calculating 8,793 on AS.
