Need 12-14 AA Segments
I am shy of hitting Platinum by 12 (maybe 14 segments) and have some time off the 21-23 of Dec and want to try and get a good deal on a mileage run. Do not care about the route. Given the costs economy is probably my best option. Would like to keep it to under $600 if possible (the cheaper the better). My home airport of RIC but could travel to DC if need be to save money...

It's going to be tough to get 14 segments for under $600.
Here's 7 for $370 on the 21st. Out of RIC and back into ORF. I think you can go in and out of the same airport (either/or for about $405).

edit: This gets you in and out of RIC for $380, 7 segments.

Welcome to Flyertalk rivercityflyer!
One other options to consider, is to boost to Platinum. While it does not meet your $600 budget, it could wind up being cheaper/easier than flying.
If you only need 12 segments (meaning you already have 48) the cost to boost to Platinum is $899, which isn't terribly higher than your desired budget and saves you the time flying the segments (though you also don't receive the RDMs you would earn via flying those segments). If you need 14 segments, the price jumps to $1199.

Here's a bookable link to the 21st from Geauxtigers.

And you can do the same on the 22nd for $265 again.

Total should be $630 for 12 segments.

You would be amazed how lucky one can get with a MR. Last year I did a MR MSY-DCA-CLT-RDU-PHL-BUF (overnight) BUF-BOS-DCA-MSY on a saturday/sunday in the middle of december and amazingly every flight was early or on time. Better start praying to the snow gods like I did
