ITA changes again?

Now the "Nearby" function isn't giving the same up to 3K miles away?

I'd really recommend all FTers use the "Send Feedback" button (if you can get it to work!)

I like it. Folks were killing the engine with 2000 and 3000 mile radius...larger than the continental US. Now one actually needs to make a focused search...or us google flights.

ITA has been horrible the last year or so, anything to shorten some of the very vague searches people put in should help it work better.,

Looks like they removed the "Reverse route" link that used to swap the departure and destination airports with a single click.

Ya, I was wondering that too - it was a great feature.

Removing radius searches has essentially rendered ITA useless to me. I never have needed to use it for mileage running and I have also never used a 2000+ radius but most of the times I go overseas on holiday I am entirely flexible on dates and cities I want to visit. ITA was the only way to easily hunt for well priced fares to a region for various lengths of stay any time within a particular month.

Well done ITA/Google for killing a once very useful tool.

Blame the user base for their abuses, not the provider.

We knew it was the end of a excellent product when Google acquired ITA July/2010. I've used ITA for years for my work. I would have gladly paid a subscription fee for it to be kept in the original hands and enhanced instead of inferior upgrades.

Inferior upgrades is merely my perspective. Google, as do others, see it differently. Googles acquisition of ITA Software will create a new, easier way for users to find better flight information online, which should encourage more users to make their flight purchases online.

I will need to adjust.

You can manually enter a string of airports. Tedious yes, but not the end of the world.

It's still there, although in a castrated form, in the 'one way search' box.

But that requires one to know what every airport is. There is often great deals in to small out of the way airports. Time to make myself a list of every airport in the world.

Maybe someone could come up with an app/site that would bring up all airports within a given area in copy and paste-able form, people would then just have to paste them in if they were unsure, although this would be a tedious work around really

ITA is no longer providing airport codes for city names; you have to find the airport code before doing the search. The search times are much longer than just a few weeks ago; you are directed to use google flights for quicker searches.

What do you mean? I don't see any change in behavior. The codes are still included with the names.
