Hi

I just booked CPT-GVA with the error fare, any tips on getting to CPT from Europe for cheap? lol I hope my tickets goes through! United said it would take up to 24 hours.

At the moment I don't see any cheap solution.
I'm looking at early months of 2014 and being summer it means high season in SA.
However if not on points, we hardly can call this positioning flight(s) cheap, particularly to CPT.

Try to get cheap to CAI. From there you get very, very cheap to JNB or CPT. Check-out the C-Class fares

TK in Y for about from € 129,-- ++
TK in C for about from € 565,-- ++

There are some dates Rome - Johannesburg for GBP256 on Saudia, only twice per week though. Check Matrix for dates - Wednesday and Saturday.

Seems like the JNB/CPT-GVA/ZRH deal is dead, I don't anything for the dates late December I got just 10 hours ago.

EDIT: might have sold out for the specific dates...

I cant tell if my reservation is confirmed?

I have a UA and a TK confirmation number and I see my flights on the Turkish Airlines website but when it click the reconfirmation button, an error appears but under status it says HK which means confirmed... Nothing appears under check my trip either, I made the booking 5 hours ago.

There were a handful of flights in December and with only 2 seats per flight, it probably did sell out. I saw it in the blogs yesterday too.

I think you are right, dont see anything in ITA anymore, prices went up
