To clarify, though, the price still exists in 2014. Not that with the new PQD requirement it matters that much, but for those of us who are gunning for Platinum and may need a small boost (or big one!), this could still work.

Your answer is here and in the next few posts that follow that one. Short answer is that if you're booked in K and flying in LH metal you get no UA mileage credit. Check your booking class.

I had a schedule change on two of the flights of this itinerary (EWR_LAX-IAD-BAH-FRA-ZRH-LAX-SFO-EWR-ZFV scheduled for 1 Feb 2014, returning on 3 Feb 2014. Did a quick search for LAX-BAH in Feb and it was about $1350 in V. W was more. I am waiting to see if a better deal pops up.

Probably easiest to call and cancel since original fare was booked in LH k class.
If you don't get acceptable answer, wait for 1K and try again.

Two of us will be travelling outbound via IAD-KWI Nov 9/return KWI-IAD Nov 11 with about a 7 hour turnaround in KWI. If we get our BP's for the KWI-IAD portion while we are in IAD, will we be able to bypass KWI immigration and re-enter departures area as an Int'l flight connection for the return IAD flight? If so, are there any special procedures that we will need to follow for transiting and before boarding? Which lounge will we have access to? If anyone has experience with this, it would be much appreciated! Thanks.
