nice find, but bear in mind that zfv-ewr segments do not earn any PQM, only 250 RDMs. mileage for EWR-IAH-AUS-IAH-EWR comes to about 3800..

Whoops...not sure how I messed that up (I purposely left off the ZFV legs when calculating the mileage). Thanks :-)

Just an observation... Doesn't look like much same day turn availability originating in ZFV but if you nest a same day within a 2 day (leave Friday back Sunday) then it looks a bit better for NYC/ZFV based flyers and the timing seems to just work out.

AUS-PHL also gone. Was able to get AUS-IAH-PHL-IAD-AUS same-day in JAN
for $148.00 which was decent.

Question Does Amtrak segment count as AP status miles?

I did this MR for Easter, when the fare was $141. A good deal, but it was only available on the non-stop EWR-AUS. The flight was half-full, so I am not surprised the fare is back!

The return was very interesting. The non-stop was delayed, so I re-routed via IAH and received additional AP miles!

I have yet to receive AP credit for the ZFW-EWR portion. It is not a lot (178 miles?) but I would like to hear from any any other AP members if they have received credit for the Amtrak segment?
