Need help with specific fare code, i found fare rule. How to manipulate?

I'm looking to buy Sep 10th to Sep 12 RDU-BOS rt
found the following fares
KAU21HN and KA21HN for about $238

fare rules says 2 transfers permitted, however I dont see any 2 transfers on ITA. How can I piece out 2 connections on this fare?

Category 16: Penalties
For FC type fares Note - Rule 16NR in dgr applies -and- For one way fares Cancellations Ticket is non-refundable. Waived for schedule change. Note - --- A. Ua customer commitment - Customers who purchase a ticket for travel on united via ua channels - United reservations / United.Com / United airport ticket counters / United city ticket offices - May cancel their reservation/refund ticket without penalty within 24HRS of purchase. --- B. Wholly unused ticket - A wholly unused ticket may be applied toward the purchase of a domestic or international fare/ ticket priced at -Current- fare levels following all fare rule provisions. -- Original reservations of wholly unused ticket must be cancelled prior to originally scheduled flight or ticket has no value. -- Wholly unused ticket must exchanged no later than one year /365 days/ Of the original ticket issue date or ticket has no value. -- The non refundable value of the unused ticket must be carried forward in the endorsement box of the new ticket and designated as non refundable. -- A 150.00 usd administrative service fee will be assessed for transaction. Any residual value will be returned in the form of a ua non refundable voucher / Travel agency may issue a non refundable mco valid on ua. -- Passengers traveling on companion fares must present all tickets at the same time. --- C. When a lower fare is introduced or available in the market - When a lower fare is introduced into the market or a current fare is reduced or becomes available / The ticketed passenger may qualify for the above. All provisions of the lower fare must be met before departure. No change to origin/destination/dates/flights. Only booking code change is permitted. -- A service fee equal to the change fee will be assessed. Emergency provision - Ticket may be used toward the purchase of another ticket in the event of an emergency of passenger/ immediate family member or traveling companion. You're missing the most important part: the routing rules

The routing available for those fares is: RDU-WAS/EWR/CLE-BOS

So, while the fare rules may permit two transfers, the routing does not, sadly.

You need a tool like ExpertFlyer or KVS, though for occasional use you can probably just ask people here. Though it depends on the airline (and where its hubs are), the routings often aren't great for cities that are close together.
