Just got the cheap fare to SAN from PHL over Memorial day weekend, have to leave on a Saturday, but you can pretty much return any day the following week. Fare was also there for SEA and PDX. Was $200.00 AI; it is a little bit less if you choose the CO code share outbound.

What always seems under-appreciated in these cheapo transcons is the ability to use hidden cities -- most of UA/CO and maybe US's hubs -- at a fraction of their cost.
My favorites are the PHL-LAX/SFO nonstops, which almost NEVER go on sale for $100 each way all in.
