Did you point out to MP the terms of the promotion as printed on the webpage?

You are absolutely correct--the terms do not state that. I did point that out to MP and was told that UA retains the right in its sole discretion not to verify my registration as I was not a recipient of the targeted email promotion. Perhaps that's not a good (or legally sound) answer, but an answer nonetheless. I'm sure those inclined to litigation could have a field day, but I think I'll just move on...

fyi, it's now 7:06PM EST and there is still 1 flight option ex-LGA for Sat at $134 base (155 a/i)

Select Chicago sameday efare link to PHL, then modify it substituting LGA=>ORD

UA 669 6:00 AM LGA-ORD

UA 836 6:10PM ORD-LGA

btw, there are also some EWR options also for the return (6:35 PM)

Never said it did, rather it was just an addendum to posting of the still available LGA-ORD run.... just intended to alert folks of that option, if for whatever reason they chose to take it.
