Substitute for FareCompare
I've been less than satisfied with the FC flyertalk search for a while:
1) too many fares that don't price out
2) the flyertalk page does not restrict my searches to 1 airline
3) I also want the cheapest flights *to* a destination
Questions:
A) can I get ITA to list all the flights to a particular destination from any city?
B) If not, are there any other services (ExpertFlyer, etc I can use)?

The FlyerTalk Fare Compare page only shows published fares. However, the page does not check availability of such fares.
Just because a fare is published does not mean it is available for purchase!
If you are interested in a particular fare, you can do an ITA search to constrain to a particular fare code. ITA will then check availability for you.

All US domestic fares are bi-directional (e.g. NYC-LAX fares are the same as LAX-NYC). For Intl fares, there is no way to request that.
