US: DTW-ANC $360 a.i.

I can't believe I'm posting this. I can't believe anyone would actually do it, unless they're with a non-US Star A program and can garner meaningful bonus.

DTW-PHX-ANC. On the Orb. Sample dates Dec 16-24.

MSP at 410 a.i., same routing.

Pointless attack on NW...vacation to ANC in Dec?

ANC runs are great to pad accounts at the end of the year, though I prefer same-day runs rather than 7-day runs in the winter. The 45 minute turn on the CO routings via SEA are quite nice for a MR if the fares come back down.

I'm in if NW matches and the layover is long enough to get to Moose's Tooth for pizza/beer and to replace the hat my dog ate. ^

If I ever jump on a US MR, I will know it's time to join a 12-step program.

A great Y-UP would be perfect for this !

However I doubt that our fellow ANC FTer get much relief with a vacation in DTW when it comes to temperatures. It might not be as cold but nasty and wet!

Enjoy

Here's hoping that NW responds for US cities (or pseudo-cities) like ORD . I need a relatively low priced MR that will earn 7000 miles or so!

Great! If NW does match, I can do a final MR and visit Sarah Palin. She'll be back in the State by November 5th.
You betch-ah!

Remember you have to interline to AS to Wassilla (I'm sure they have a small airport)
