Ord-pek Ua $359++

I enjoy Beijing and watch expertflyer and farecompare. This fare showed up in both place with what looks like $636 price all in. I did not try to book because I like Skyteam.

Good find - thanks! It looks like there are two fare codes: LXRLPY for $359, and LWRLPY for $409, with a $250 surcharge for both. The travel period is 1/25-2/29. The same fare bases are from IAD as well for $40 more, but on a 777 rather than a 747.

I can't get it to show up yet, but I will look for it.

This might be an interesting way to kill a week or so if it pops up bookable somewhere.

I guess we can start lining up for China visas

It is filed on United.com as China and Taiwan special
I see for 2/20-2/26 for $627 on .bomb and this is out of LAX

You can also use the 15% off coupon that has gone out a couple of days ago - brings it down to $580 a/i on direct LAX-PEK-LAX with one stop each way

I'm seeing Feb dates out of IAD in the low 700's all-in. Also (SWU) upgradeable Q's for mid $1400's. Might have to jump on this one...

7 day minimum, it appears.

Not sure this belongs in the MR forum, in that case.

Agreed and I stand corrected from my OP on the other thread. Ex-SFO, also seeing $457 all in Outbound any of 2/19 thru 2/21, returning on the 25th, with the UA 15% coupon. This is an L fare.

I did lax-hkg feb 28-march 3, $505 all in. If you have the code, I guess it's around 450. SO yeah I don't think there's 7 days min.

This is what I see on united.com when I try a sample LAX-HKG itinerary:
China and Taiwan special

United is making it easier than ever to travel to China and Taiwan

It's not just United's convenient schedule to Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Taipei, it's the low fares that make visiting such a breeze. For travel from now through the end of February, we have slashed prices from all over the U.S. to these historic and majestic destinations. And remember to always book on united.com to find the best deals!
Unfortunately, I can't find any more details anywhere on the website.

The all-in price was $510.70 incidentally. And that was without applying the purported 15% discount.
