When it was working, I got Jan 30th-6th Feb.
On AA.com I went to multi city and had
DUB-BUD Jan 30th early morning
BUD-BKK Jan 30th Anytime
BKK-BUD Feb 6th Anytime
BUD-DUB Feb 7th Anytime

Business class and search schedule for 2 adults on oneworld.

But I just checked now, and it seems its no longer available.

One thing I did notice was expertflyer only listed certain flights, and not all the other MA BKK-BUD ones

See jason8612's post, abrelosojos. Works for me.

Just tried to price out the previously-working 1/13-1/16 dates to see if they still worked. Comes back at $3153.80 + $68.80 taxes & fees per-person == $6445.20 total now. Damn Why did I have to be out all day and not see this thread until now? Sigh ...

I can confirm this is gone
This uses I fare, and even when I checked Feb 17th to March 5th which all the flights have I4 and its all on MA (DUB-BUD-BKK) pulls up the high price.

I posted this "fact" earlier.

But then you posted your found dates and they worked for me, although I was unable to snap them up.

So fares may well still be out there, but securing I availability isn't the ONLY way to ensure the price. What the other factors are though, I have no idea!

PS If anyone has made a booking but needs their 2nd person, I don't care when I travel...!

The fare is not gone. You just have to search (literally) day by day and it has to be sometime before the end of February. I just found two I seats (all segments must be in I -- for example, if one segment is in S, it won't work) for ~$600 total for 2.

Error message

We are unable to provide a price for your itinerary. Please contact your local American Airlines Reservations Office at 1-800-433-7300 in the U.S. and Canada, 0208-572-5555 inside London, or 08457-789-789 outside London for assistance.

I'm getting this message from time to time. Might I have been close to this golden fare?

FWIW when I try searching on the Irish AA site it won't let me book a multi flight unless one of the segments is an AA flight number. Have never used it before but it seems odd.

No luck yet...
