You should be able to price and book trips into or out of ZFV directly on continental.com. In fact, I think that that's the only place where you can price and book such trips. Just don't try to include EWR in the itinerary: it will automatically show up as a connecting point on any itinerary that has ZFV as an origin or a destination. And if it's not convenient to start your trip at ZFV, consider an open jaw trip, like EWR-SJC-ZFV.

I'd forget about the ZFV major parking expense and waste of time between train & flights.
Id go with my ole reliable, didnt plug in the dates or times but Id fly PHL-LAS can be had for $163 B4 txs and then LAS-CLT for $143 B4 txs with the 5% off and txs it should come in around $300 with a ton of miles. If done right you might even beable to stay overnight each night in LV.
Thats 2 different tkts, just make sure they didnt change the T&Cs that you hav eto stay overnight at either LAS or CLT before flying out. I usually do a PHL-LAX and combine that with a LAS-SAV/MHT/MCO/FLL that nets me in EQMs appx 11k+ for $300 although CO isnt as cheap as it was the past few yrs.
The following is available on 12/19 LAS-IAH 1:15am-6:05am
12/19 IAH-CLT 7:35am-10:57am (RJ thats all they fly to CLT with)
12/19 CLT_EWR 1:25pm-3:15pm (RJ)
12/19 EWR-LAS 4:30pm-7:23pm

Thanks again everyone. Today I booked a RT EWR-IAH-ONT for $278. I prefer EWR so I latched onto that one. I figure I have 24hrs to find something better. These 5498 miles plus a 1000 EQM mile business trip leaves me in need of 575 miles. I'm still hoping to find something better to include the additional miles needed.
