Thanks for posting. A nice fare to start off the '07 MR/SR season.

Direct flight is 1006 miles each way. So without routing, that's 6cpm (ie. not much of a MR). Since DTW is the NW hub already I don't know how creative you can get even if non direct routing is allowed. Anyone has the fare rules?

I am in need of about 1700 miles to become SE for 2007 so this is a possibility using my VDB compensation. When I checked for a same day turnaround midweek flight in December, it came out to $116.60 all in (5.17 cents/EQM).

Eh, so maybe not so nice for a MR. At least it will get you someplace warm for pretty cheap.
I haven't yet checked adding on any segments but I will post them here if I can find anything that doesn't kill the price.

I'm seeing $116 all-in. With PKs, you can get it down to about $0.0475/EQM, which for a hub-captive, isn't that bad.
Earlier this year, you could do DTW-FLL $118 all-in, just about every day, turn-arounds, out to about Feb. This sale only appears to be Mon/Tue/Wed.
I've been doing DTW-MCO turn-arounds at a bit less expensive then this... great way to finalize Plat.
