CLT - BGI (Barbados) on Delta - $118 + (about $180 all in)

Through end of schedule. Maybe not a true mileage run, but an excellent fare particularly during the winter months. Downside is Delta's schedule with service frequency Saturdays only during much of the year. About 5226 miles connecting through ATL before any bonus.

It's up (kinda) on Delta.com. I tried a few dates around the holidays and came up empty. March 1st thru 3rd worked, but I didn't book it. Books into T class. $147 base fare. $183.30 all in. Looks like there's Thursday, Friday, and Saturday flight availability.

I found a complete itinerary on Delta.com for $180.00 all in. Terrific fare!

I figure just get a one-way car rental from ATL-CLT and on the return, skip the final leg back to CLT. Booked a 5-night trip for next year...luckily I can cancel within 24hrs w/o penalty if the dates don't work for my wife (who doesn't know I booked this yet!)

Do you mind telling what dates you got?

We booked in September 07. Looks like lots of availability....but flights only operate Fri/Sat from what I can see.

I just plugged in random dates of September 8-15 and the deal is available in "T" class. I'm sure other Fri/Sat combinations will work too.

Weird. The flights are through ATL, but if you check ATL--BGI, the price jumps to almost $700. Wonder if this is a mistake...

Nope, that is the way many many fares work with all the majors at their hubs.

This is probably to start a fare war or retaliate for a US Airways fare since CLT is their hub and they're big in the Carribbean flights..... nonetheless a great price!

any other destinations where US flies pop up yet? SXM would be great. I'm looking but don't see any. And only BGI fares I can find for 180 involve 20-hour layovers in Atlanta.

Im finding the same thing with extended layovers in Atlanta, which ironically I dont mind, but it is not letting me request the upgrade. It says not eligible? Any idea why? I thought Caribbean flights were eligible as were T fares.

Yes. Try Nov 30-Dec 2 on Travelocity. No overnight stay required at ATL. I did not check on delta.com.

MIN STAY - RETURN AFTER 2 DAYS AFTER
DEPARTURE FROM ORIGIN

I got it for $118 roundtrip out Jan 25 returning Jan 27! It's $183 with all taxes. Thanks! Will make for a great weekend in BGI!

Wow ... hotels are expensive there, but I got a GLONP07 (7 night GLONP, I had never even heard of it myself ...) at the Hilton Barbados for our trip in late February/early March for 205,000 HHonors Points, it looks like they have a 7 night minimum stay for reward redemption though. Now I just have to decide how to get to CLT ...
