NW has similar fares from Houston. Among the longer routings are IAH-DTW-ANC and IAH-MSP-SEA-ANC.

Travelocity is a relatively easy place to find available dates, but the fares are also shown on the airline website.

Just booked IAH-MEM-MSP-ANC/ANC-DTW-MEM-IAH for $295. Status miles 7811. With online booking bonus, 150% Turbo miles bonus and double MEM miles should give me around 33,000 miles.
