Thanks, letiole! I bought a second mileage run on this route; lots of availability, unlike the SMF-PBI fare. I won't share just how many letiole has admitted to me that she has bought, though.

Yes, uh, let's just say if anyone else has booked any of these there's a good chance I'm on your flight. :O>

Can you suggest an itinerary on UA that would have the maximum segments allowed on these fares. I have tried to input this but I really can't seem to get anything with more then then 4 segments. I'm very flexible but would like to do this around mid-October. Thanks for any help.

Northwest is offering $138 round trip on this route through the end of the year. A couple of my friends here in the aviation program and me are making a mileage run on NW JAX-SJC Veterans Day weekend.... only $138 and it's JAX-DTW-MSP-SJC-MSP-MEM-JAX. Not bad for the fare. Continental does it for $126 via IAH.

Stop it ???
Its the best thing since sliced bread.
$135. Now I am doing two a weekend with a SJC-LAX-MIA-JAX-MIA-LAX-SJC routing. With all the bonuses and potential converted upgrades, I am hitting an average of ~55K miles per weekend on AA for a grand sum of $270.

I'm at ORD, on the way back from a Thursday night JAX run. I don't know how many more of these I can do. I have found the CRJ, when completely full, is not very comfortable. Had an empty seat next to me on the way down, but it was jam packed on the way back up.
Holding out for an upgrade on the ORD-SJC segment. Still waitlisted.
Interesting experience at SJC last night. I checked in at the front counters and asked about getting on the VDB list. The counter agent said she would give me a $300 voucher right there. I told her I'd check with the gate agents closer to departure and left, thinking they might go for $600, like I've got on my last two late night bumps. No such luck. We went out 100% full, and they didn't bump anyone. I have learned a valuable lesson here (take the $300 and run). Could have rerouted from SFO this morning and got back late tonight if I had gone for this (and the ticket only cost $40 after using another voucher towards it).

Sitting at ORD RCC... United did it again.. They just WON'T let me stop getting bumped!.... arghhhh!
Flew SJC-ORD and got onto the ORD-JAX flight at 1:25.... Plane was TOTALLY full....Got delayed... sat there about half an hour.... until a ticket agent came onto the CRJ and asked for two volunteers to take the later flight for $500 in vouchers....
So, my $39 flight from SJC to JAX (after using a leftover $100 coupon) just netted me another $500!
Wonder if I'll get bumped on the way home tomorrow... JAX-IAD-SJC....

To Kevin B and the rest:
My friend (eastbayflier) and I did the very same thing two Saturdays ago (Oct. 20). You did better than us though, we only received $400 each. We volunteered in the gate area, though.
