AS: FLL->LAX currently pricing out at $60 OW or $113.20 RT.
2,337 miles OW, 4,674 miles RT. You get a 50% EQM bonus on all AS flights until the end of June 2021, so we're talking 2.4 cents per RDM or 1.6 cents per EQM. You can go from no status to MVP Gold 75K with 11 RTs, which is $1,245.20, and Costco is currently selling AS gift cards for 10%-off, which would reduce your cost to 1,145.18 if you buy two $500 AS gift cards from Costco to use to buy your mileage run fares. I believe this fare is valid until approximately January 25th, 2021, so book soon if you want to do this MR.

SFO/BOS/IAD/NYC to LIS from $160 o/w (all 3 alliances, BE)
SFO/BOS/IAD/NYC to LIS is discounted by all three alliances. Either o/w starting from ~$160 or r/t for $350 or so. These book into basic economy. Wide availability, search via GF, book direct.

Also YYZ-LIS direct for $399 CAD basic economy. Just booked a pair and will use status for lounges and luggage allowance. Very wide availability August into the fall. About $25 more later in the year and Jan/Feb 2022 (but flights then are not direct)

I was just looking at this fare tonight—it’s even available over the Christmas holidays! Just not sure I could live with the restrictions of the Economy Basic fare...

With AC current Covid policy even with Economy Basic you can still make one free change and either get a travel voucher or convert to Aeroplan points with bonus if you decide to cancel later

Ex MAD, there have been cheap o/w as well as r/t flights in basic eco for some time (OW and *A). E.g., MAD-MIA non-stop on UX is EUR 151 o/w when booked directly through UX (good availability outside summer vacation period). MAD-MIA nonstop op. by AA is EUR 136 o/w when booked directly through AA (April through June 2021 only).
There are also r/t flights such as MAD-LIS-MIA // MIA-LIS-MAD on TP metal for EUR 214 directly through TAP. Good availability outside the main summer vacation period (= late June through the end of August).
Ex AMS, we often see cheap basic eco fares as well. They are currently back. It's mostly on OW.
AMS-PHL-MIA from EUR 186 o/w or EUR 286 r/t. Note o/w are only available until June 20 or so. r/t available until EOS except for the summer. Search via GF, book through AA or BA.
AMS-DFW/PHL/LHR-SFO is cheap as well, r/t from EUR 292 outside the summer.
