ZFV (Phl train) to SYD: UA $606rt ai.

Booked a ZFV train to EWR-SYD (through LAX) at $606.
Prices changing quickly, but some flights still eligible ot buy up to Polaris from LAX-SYD, waitlisted on rest.
I booked May 9-16th

seeing more availability with using ZFV instead of other airports. also seeing good MIA-SYD availability in May and June. start on ITA, then search flexible on UA.com. seeing more dates on UA.com, once you know when to start.

ABE (bus to EWR) also works, but not EWR itself.

Is ABE bus less risky to skip than Amtrak?

Question via DEN. IAH?

The lowest fare I am seeing is $660. Routes via SFO outbound, LAX inbound, for approx. 6 cpm. 787-9 on both long hauls. Would be great to see routing via IAH or DEN?

Hmmm..I'd like to know if the ABE bus is safer to skip as well. I've done ZFV fares before but only one way into EWR.

I'm sure there's a dedicated ABE thread on UA's forum, but I'd say no. It's considered a flight on UA, not a codeshare (like Amtrak) with some random bus company...

Thanks, found it, but have to start the trip 3 days earlier to get that price.

Don't feel bad. I have missed some great deals on here in the past by a matter of minutes ...
