Found this when looking for some trips in JAN/FEB to burn this year's eVIPs.
Looks to be available most any date starting the second week in JAN and lasting through at least MAR (ITA just crapped out on me so can't check later dates). Outbound can connect in MIA / JFK / DFW. Inbound looks like it has to be through LHR at least for the dates I looked at. JAN dates require a 1 night stay but MAR has some 0 day trips available.
EDIT - Also seeing sub-$500 fares for FCO, MXP, MAD in FEB. Looks to be good for multiple EU destinations.

No they aren't, but, I've never had a time where award space was available that a SWU wasn't. Maybe I've missed a few opportunities but I've found it to be a quick and easy way to view a month at a time. $433 for 3/30 to 4/6; Too bad I am not in a position to book a trip right now. Wow Air has sub $400 airfare, but it adds up to $700 once you add a carry on (not even a checked bag) and select a seat for all 4 legs.

Find some fares to cheaper cities in Europe via google flights.
Go to aa.com and check ORD/DFW/JFK - LHR/MAN and look for Saver business.
Then check the domestic segments to get to the international departure city.
Go back to google flights and price.
