KL/DL: BRU-SFO $364 or eur322 3.2cpm (B787-900)
Dates from now until early June, dct flights AMS-SFO using the new 787-900 are available. Short layovers seem to be possible without affecting the fare, booking via KL website.

Edit: KL fares gone, but BA/AA is matching fares.

Seems it's a 7 day minimum stay with the KL fare.

Why is it 3x the price going the other way ?

Can i buy 2 tickets and only fly one way for each?

IAD and IAH are also pricing out under $400 on AA. 3mo stay.

BRU-SFO with BA for example 349 euro 27-5 outbound 18-6 inbound transit in LHR 1:35/2:40
Nice with only 13.55/14:20 in total

BRU Houston 342 euro With Delta (14 hours)
BRU Denver 346 euro 16 hours with British Airways 352 euro 20 hours with delta
BRU Washington 346 13 hours with British Airways
