UA/AC/(AD): Canada-GRU/SDU, starting at 3.6cpm and 525USD
various routings, tons of dates, all major Canadian airports should work
e.g.
YVR-ORD-GRU-SDU RT, 543USD, 14.3k miles
YVR-YUL-YYZ-GRU RT, 525USD, 15.3K miles
YVR-SFO-IAH-GRU RT, 525USD, 14.7k miles
should book into AC K/L or UA N for 100% PQM on UA or 50% on AC (aside from Canadian domestic) - fly GRU-SDU on Azul for just a tiiiiiny bit more miles credited to UA... lol.

Credits at 25% within Canada, so YVR-ORD is much better than YVR-YUL/YYZ.
But again on the visa topic, it's very easy and cheap for Brazil it's $80 CAD, multiple entries, good for 5 years.

Sorry, don't understand, "(AC fare is higher at $710 - +$12.) What is higher than what? You are saying that the AC fare is higher than UA fare?

UA (MP) flyers will get 100% PQM, equal to BIS miles? (I would ask about "redeemable" miles, whatever those are called these days, but one earns so few of them on cheap tickets that they are of far lesser interest to me these days than PQM.)

yes, crediting to UA is 100% PQM, which is how you get 3.6cpm. getting cheap AC fares with 100% crediting is really hard which is why you barely ever see those posted, but UA is much easier.

Thanks for that helpful info. My focus has become life-time UA miles as I close on 1MM > PQM >> RDM (or whatever). So, most of these AC deals involved an AC flight to a USA airport, then an onward connection on a UA flight/metal? No UA metal from Canadian airports that would work with one of these fares, is there?
