For those wondering: EWR-OSL-EWR is 7393mi; for $407 that's 5.5cpm. There's also a one-night stay available from Nov 21-23 at $409. It looks like you can route through HAM if you're willing to pay an extra $20ish and fly 4U (Germanwings) to get to OSL in one direction.

How much daylight during that time of the year?

Lights aren't needed to jog in the woods outside of the city even between 8 am and 4 pm.

A bit less daylight than what MSP has at that time but not a make or break for me.

Anybody found out if it works in reverse OSL-EWR-OSL? Tried some dates in Nov but didn't find any cheapo tickets.

I noticed on my UA38&39 flights in late October (and on random other dates) that seats 7D&E are always "booked." Could it be that they are not booked but blocked?
