Actually seeing as low as $70 for NYC-PIT, but only for same day turns.

Ua: Sna-lga $308

I was looking at potential holiday and mileage run in December and found a great deal on UA.

SNA - LGA $308 (December 17th - 19th)

I booked it on United for 2,459 miles, dont know if it is a good deal or not but seems an easy 5,000 miles for only $308. Probably hotel at NYC will cost $300 a night.

There was a recent set of sales for LAX-NYC (in both directions) for $118, so this not quite MR material on this route.

Hotels outside of Manhattan are generally obtainable for far less than $300/nt. If you're doing this and staying in Manhattan for a pure mileage run, you're probably spending too much on your hotel.

True MRs on transcons require no hotels. Redeye going west to east and there's no need.

2459 miles each way yields a CPM of $0.063 which is a bit high, but there have been worse deals if you're trying to squeeze in an end-of-year MR.
