Connection time at ORD?

Hi everyone,
I was wondering what the minimum connection time is at Chicago O'Hare airport. I'm flying DUS-ORD-STL in a couple of months and I was wondering if my connection time of 3 hours and 10 minutes is enough to get from terminal 5 to terminal 1. Does anyone know? Thank you!

Welcome to FlyerTalk thijs89.

3 hours 10 should be plenty subject to the immigration queues at T5 (which can be anything from 10 minutes to 2 hours depending if you're first in the queue or or if you're at the back of the plane and are in the non-US citizen queue.

1 1/2 hours connect means running 2 hours + you can meander to T1. Just makes sure you don't hang round immigration too long!

PS... there is a guide to ORD T5 connecting in my sig - its BMI based, but most of the arriving at T5 stuff applies to UA even....

Should be fine - just hop the people mover train to terminal 1 when you exit customs and reclear security there. Shouldn't take more than half an hour to clear security unless something's not working.
