Stanley's Guacamole.
I admit it, I'm a guacamole addict.
I go to Stanley's on North & Elston. They have a 16 oz. container for $3.89 -- same size container at Whole Fraud is like $7.00.
It has some jalepeno, cilantro, and some salt. I make good guac, but this is so good I don't really see why I should bother any longer.

If not, how do they keep it "fresh?" Preservatives? I recently read that Block 37 will have a Rosa Mexicano (where they make it at your table). That's the way to eat it - fresh!

Store bought quacamole usually has so much lime or lemon (to keep it from turning brown) that it doesn't taste like guacamole. I take it that this isn't the case with this place? Or you just like sour guacamole?

(Agreed on the "sour" taste -- this stuff doesn't have it.)
