Question Clapton Guitarfest Question

Hello,

My wife and I will be flying into Chicago in late July for the big Eric Clapton Guitarfest concert at Toyota Park. We've never been to this venue before, and have only been to Chicago once in the 90's. We are staying at the Raffaello Hotel near the Miracle Mile.

My question is, what would be the best, "safest" way to get back and forth to the concert? Should we rely on taxis? Public transportation? Or rent a car? If this concert is like the one in Dallas in 2004, it will last until well after midnight.

The obvious downside of renting a car is the outrageous amount that the hotel wants to charge for parking, along with the rental company fees.

I appreciate your advice.

-Steve

p.s. any feedback on the Raffaello Hotel?

Rent/return car downtown. Your tix include parking at the venue.

Why ask about the hotel now?

Enjoy the festivities.

I'm stalking last minute seats for less than face value.
