I'm gonna be flying to Japan for about half a month and I've been looking for some cheap parking and found this.

Its pretty close to the airport too. I think I'm just gonna park there and walk to the Airport.

For a trip that long, it may be cost effective to leave your car at home and use a limo service --- For example, if you use a coupon at Quikpark, you could get one free day and then pay say 140 or so at 10/day.

Leaving DTW on July 2nd and returning July 10th. McNamara parking too expensive ($20/day). Big Blue Deck sounds reasonable ($10/day) but it sounds like the shuttles aren't as reliable. The discussion about QwikPark above is positive and the shuttles sound VERY reliable. Question is, do you tip the shuttle drivers?

If they don't get out of the seat, I tip nothing.
I've seen about 50% of all passengers tip and 50% don't, over probably 50 shuttles or so.

by DTW I find that Park n Fly works out graet
usually The 4 Points, HGI,Hampton Fairfield, new Sheraton has them where its 1 night and up to 8 nights parking
even better if flying out early morn or returning very late, it usually works out that the room is gotten for peanuts if you take what you would have paid just for parking into the equation and even better if you can score a Stay during a promo (even if not staying in the room it works out real cheap for a mattress run over the price of parking alone) wish I had them so cheap here in NY, friends out in DTW score it almost every time they fly since its only afew $$ more then just parking most of the time

Cheap parking near Detroit Airport for 5-6 days?
I am flying out of DTW North Terminal since Friday at about 8PM. I will return Wednesday at 6PM. I live in Ann Arbor, and I'm considering either driving or taking a shuttle bus (shuttle bus will cost about $40 for 2 of us, a bit less convenient and more time consuming), so I'm leaning towards driving if I can find cheap parking.
I need about 5-6 days of parking.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a cheap parking location? Are there any locations $5 and under? I haven't called around the hotels yet, but I will do that today and see what they offer.

Qwik Park, US Park and Airlines Parking are all $10 a day with a coupon and Park 'N Go is $9 with a coupon. There's a lot that opened in Taylor a few years ago that has really cheap rates but they have one shuttle you need to contact to both pick you up at the lot and at the airport, every review I've seen is bad.
